This column was made for a photo shoot on August 5, 2013. It’s more than a little rough around the edges, but it still has recognizable balloons! I needed the pole so I picked it up from the kid (my son is holding it) and was shocked to see that so many months later it’s still not dead.

The balloon challenge this week was to make Medusa. We went a slightly different route and made Jason holding Medusa’s head.
Yesterday Jayhawk balloons proved to be very popular. I have several versions that I make, this is the simplest. It’s something I can do even when I have a long line because it only takes a couple of minutes and still conveys the idea.
